Happy Holidays!
(Original post created: 2008-12-19 13:21:14)It's that time of the year again! It's time to wish you all Happy Holidays and soon to be an exciting new 2009.
I'm letting a clip from the 1995 Japanese animation Ghost in the Shell accompany this post. The music is composed by Kenji Kawai. Jeez, I can't believe it's more than 10 years since I first saw this fantastic anime!

I just watched this movie last weekend and the storyline was a bit confusing.

Hey Colin, glad to see you here! Yeah it might be a bit confusing at first, and you can probably take in the movie from different viewpoints. The "chasing the hacker" story is cool enough, but for me the theme and purpose with the movie is to raise questions about life and the definition of it. You should try watching the sequel as well, Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, as it's extremely beautifully made and with just as good soundtrack as the first one.
