Inspiration June 2009
(Original post created: 2009-06-18 16:47:24)I've been a fan of the Silent Hill video game series since I first played Silent Hill 2 for the PS2 some years back. The gameplay itself wasn't that fantastic, but the setting, the atmosphere, the soundtrack and the deeply psychological and tragic storyline made it all worthwhile. A Silent Hill movie came out a couple of years ago as well. While the pictures and music was spot on, unfortunately it lacked the depth that makes me appreciate the games so much.
I recently got a hold of Silent Hill Origins, which I'm trying to play through at the moment whenever I find time. The intro track is quite amazing if you ask me.

The game, music and atmosphere are fantastic for me. There is another game out this year (for PSP) Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Didn"t try it yet.
